Aim High students work hard in the classroom every day

Aim High St. Louis is a tuition-free academic enrichment program for fifth- through eighth-grade students from low-income neighborhoods who have demonstrated potential.

Once accepted into the program, students will participate for at least four years, enabling them to take full advantage of a comprehensive curriculum which has a long-term impact on their future. As Aim High achieves its mission, students:

Gain exposure to and appreciation for a rigorous academic program.
Commit to academic achievement and stay in school.
Become responsible and vital members of society.
Serve as role-models within their communities.
Give back what they learned about the importance of education.
Avoid gangs, alcohol, drugs and sexual activity.

Aim High has helped me in more ways than any program can help someone. Aim High is a place to come only if you want to succeed. If success is not what you want, then Aim High is not the place. It is a place where people (teachers, TA's and directors) care about you and your welfare. When I graduated from Aim High, it seemed like the worst day of my life. I couldn't believe I was leaving a place that I loved so much and that everyone loved me so much. Aim High pulled out my most inner potentials and brought them out in the light. I love Aim High!
