Aim
High has helped me in more ways than any program can help someone. Aim
High is a place to come only if you want to succeed. If success is not
what you want, then Aim High is not the place. It is a place where
people (teachers, TA's and directors) care about you and your welfare.
When I graduated from Aim High, it seemed like the worst day of my
life. I couldn't believe I was leaving a place that I loved so much and
that everyone loved me so much. Aim High pulled out my most inner
potentials and brought them out in the light. I love Aim High! Aim High
is my positive voice and has brought me through many stressing times. I
thank Aim High for everything!

My experience here at Aim High was just unbelievable. I got to meet
different people from different places. I was fortunate enough to meet
some of the greatest teachers in the system today, which all inspired
me to make the right choices and have that driving force inside me to
continue on (Not just education-wise but life-wise also.). I feel that
once your given the chance to take hold of something, you put that hand
out and grasp it. The program gave me the opportunity to always be one
step ahead of the group. Just being able to have the chance to come
back and give is the least I can do. I'm just glad that I can be here
again, and as long as the program wants me, I'll be here.

Aim High is a great program to be in. They will give you the knowledge
you need to be ahead in the next grade. I disliked the program when it
first started. As I went through the years I started to enjoy myself. I
know that you do not like getting up in the morning, but when you
graduate the feeling is unforgettable. I graduated in '95 and people
ask me why I still come. Well, here is the answer. I come because I
wanted to give something back to where I came from. Being a teachers
assistant is a fun job and I love it!

Aim High has been instrumental in the growth of my character both as a
student and as a person. As well as strengthening my intellect, Aim
High has heightened my personal confidence. I've accomplished things
that others thought a person of my age and gender couldn't do. Aim High
has stabilized my identity and has allowed me to prove to myself and
others that I can achieve extraordinary things. With the support of
kind and generous teachers, love from home as well as the sponsors and
faculty of Aim High, and always eager to help teachers assistants, I
was a member of the first graduating class. One of the major themes is
leadership and our personal responsibility to the community. Because of
the respect and knowledge Aim High has so generously and positively
indoctrinated into my heart and mind. I have chosen for the past 2
years to volunteer as a TA in the program. The pioneers of Aim High
took my hand, cradled me, fed my mind as well as my belly, and prepared
me for the struggles of the real world. It is my wish to give this
great gift to some of the younger Aim High students, so when the reach
back they can give the same for others. Aim High means power strength,
intelligence, ambition, hard work, and immense amounts of rewards.
